Cost: $175 per student (if by January 1) $225 (after January 1) $275 (after January 8). Deadline to enroll January 10th.
*students participating in the Clark County HS Honor Band will miss the Saturday events and will receive a $75 discount. We have a special Saturday evening session with the Professors as an added bonus (will not conflict with your honor band concert).
*students who wish not to attend on Sunday will receive a $75 discount.
Who: any oboe or bassoon player (beginner, intermediate, advanced divisions)
This is a really great event to come learn reed-making and adjusting, play some great double-reed chamber music and get to work with some AMAZING faculty members and guest artists from all over the country!
Students will arrive for sign-in on Saturday morning, January 16 at 9am and final student recital is Monday, January 18th at 1:30pm. Finish time is 2:30pm on Monday. Dorms/ residential accommodations not provided, but we will be posting a hotel block for parents and students to stay at if they wish – supervision not provided.
Mark Chudnow from Mark Chudnow Woodwinds will be with us with oboes and supplies, he will also be able to provide repair for a fee.
Mauro from Reed Geek will also be with us with the wonderful Reed Geek tool.
Bocal Majority also provides a store with tools, supplies, gifts and bassoons for your needs.
