Please read: although the on-time deadline for ADRIT was March 15th, we will accept applications on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. If you missed the deadline, we highly encourage you to go ahead and submit your application ASAP and we will consider you for any available spots for the location(s) you select.
We would like to hear a representative recording of your playing. Show us your best!
You must provide a link to your audition video recording when you apply for ADRIT by March 15 (application is brief). Accompaniment not required. Please upload your video to Youtube or a similar hosting service. Auditions must be made in one continuous take, no splicing is permitted. Spliced recordings will result in disqualification from the audition process. If you’re submitting multiple movements (not required), it is OK for there to be a pause between movements, or different takes added together from one movement to the next.
You may select one musical work from this list:
Possibility 1) One movement of a concerto or sonata or solo work for your instrument (transcriptions are acceptable) – if you’re auditioning for GDYO and need to use a partial take from that, that’s fine.
OR
Possibility 2) One through-composed solo work for your instrument (transcriptions are acceptable)
OR
Possibility 3) One orchestral excerpt for your instrument
OR
Possibility 4) One entire etude for your instrument (transcriptions are acceptable)
You do NOT have to submit more than one movement nor do you have to submit something from every category of possibilities.
