Residential students sign in on Monday at 4:00pm
Commuter students sign in on Monday at 5:00pm
Where: Sacramento State University
Cost: $375 for commuter students ($475 for Premier), $775 for residential ($875 for Premier residential). Residential cost includes 3 meals per day, commuter cost includes lunch.
Who: any oboe or bassoon player (beginner, intermediate, advanced divisions)
This is a really great event to come learn reed-making and adjusting, play some great double-reed chamber music and get to work with some AMAZING faculty members and guest artists!
Residential students get to stay in modern dorms in double occupancy, air-conditioned rooms. Adult male and female RAs stay in the dorms for 24 access and supervision, including our camp manager.

THERE WILL BE AN ALL- CAMP RECITAL ON THE LAST DAY OF CAMP 6/27 at 11am – all friends and family are invited to attend (no admission fee).
Pack List for Residential Camps
At our camps we do not require formal attire and you usually don’t have to buy special things ahead of time for your stay in the dorms. But here is a general pack list for you at your discretion:
- Neat, casual, modest attire
- Comfortable shoes
- Shower supplies
- Shower shoes (if desired)
- Toiletries
- Cell phone (Dorm rooms do not have phones. There may be a lobby phone available for calling card use but not guaranteed)
- Healthy snacks if desired
- Alarm clock (on your phone is fine)
- Your musical instrument
- Pencil
- Notebook for taking notes during the classes
- Extra cash for incidental expenses such as vending machines, supplemental snacks
- Money (cash, check, credit card) for purchases in our Bocal Majority store (supplies, tools, reeds, cane, gifts)
- Optional recreational items such as cameras, playing cards, board games
- Talent for the low budget talent show
- Linens for the bed, blanket, pillow, towels, etc…
